Motherhood is a combination of wonderful, joyous, funny, emotional, challenging, frustrating, the greatest gift, life changing, difficult, scary, worrying, hilarious.... You name it, it presents every challenge and nothing can prepare you for the journey.

Being honest about how you're feeling when you're struggling can make the difficult times a lot easier.

I am aware of baby blues, postnatal depression and the highs and lows of motherhood. Being supported makes a world of difference, but feeling able to open up in the first place can be really difficult.
